Yeah all about money..

It's not also to do with the fact that Arsenal have started to utilise him as a central striker at all.

Yep not about the money - if Arse had kept in on £60000 a week and played him as a central striker he definately would stay.

I didn't say it didn't have something to do with the money.

It's not the only reason though. I reckon if they paid him that much and told him to be a winger, he'd be off. Granted he still hasn't even signed this contract yet.

But not worth 22 million, if your going to pay that you want the creame de la creame.

Bugger sorry this is Liverpool were talking about.

Might be euros though?

Felliani apparently has a £22m release clause, I wouldnt say he is worth that either.

I predict that his form will dip and Wenger will go back to playing him out wide if the contract is signed.

Why would he play out wide and one of his top-scorers this season and reduce his team's fire-power - assuming you're referring to out wide on the wing - a position he's hardly played over the last few seasons?

What would he gain from that?

BTW - He's almost always been deployed as a wide forward in a 4-3-3 (his optimum/natural position), so I'm not sure how this season's any different bar a few occasions - he's simply discovered a rich vein of form

Its different because he's recently played at the tip rather than one of the wide forwards

TRANSFER LATEST
Chelsea could sign Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini by the end of the week, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.

They report that the 25-year old will sign a five-year deal with the club, for a fee of £22m. He will earn £4m a year.

However, Manchester United could still hijack the deal.

Would people agree if Fellaini leaves that's good for us?

If he leave to United it could be good for us short term. If he leaves to Chelsea it's not good for us.

Chelsea have managed to drag themselves kicking and screaming backwards into the fight for 3rd/4th. Where they simply have no right to be. For a club that has so many world class talents it's simply a bit of an embarrassing place to be.
