Listening to the experts, this is a massive massive achievement, the top teams in the world are here and for Team GB to get silver is huge...

German looked to have won in the last millisecond of extra time in the semi final.
Koreans went apebrick.
Basically the clock stopped 3 times before that with 1 second to go on it.
Each time they restarted it was still 1 second to go.
Korean are appealing the decision now after the Korean girl was in tears and the coach doing a wenger like tandrum.

This was more than 10 minutes ago. The two fencers are still waiting out there for a decision or to find out whether they have to continue.
 
Just watched a replay on live replay, it all depends how the timing is done on fencing

If the timekeeper starts and the clock stops electronically when a hit is landed, I can believe the way she did it that they were taking tenths off each time

Yeah it looks like there were measuring it in millisecond but the display clock was only showing full seconds and rounding it up to 1 second each time.
 
Appeal going in, wow.

Korean girl still in tears, she's gotta move on and try to recoup for the Bronze medal
