The Official Knee Jerk thread

All fall we rotated fudge all.

We only started changing the team when we got injuries, that's not squad rotation, that's players being unavailable. Then things didn't work, cause if just one player out of our front 5-6 was out somehow we couldn't play football any more.

Kranjcar has shown in the past that he is good enough to play for a team challenging for at top 4 spot, as has Corluka.

Things have changed since then

its a great system anyway, if Spurs win then heck whats not to be happy about, if the mess up then at least financially there is a bit of compensation

win win

Squad rotation needs to be done in a certain way. You take out a pacy winger, you put another one in. You take out a physical striker, you put another one in. It needs to be done within a system, the players need to fit into the system and there needs to be a max of 1-2 unforced changes.

Or if we're not going to rotate, then we need to look at the fitness coaches, considering this is the second time in two seasons the squad has collapsed in the second half.

I absolutely agree that our conditioning appears to be a massive problem, and the coaches and physios must be examined. Our (young) squad hasn't played that many games that we should be looking so exhausted out there. Considering that if we were challenging in the CL we could have played a lot more games against quality opposition. And never resting Parker (age 31) seems a bit departed as well.

Redknapp leaves..... the best players leave.......Levy sells the club......we end up with Sullivan and Gold as our new owners.

Top that :(:(

What fudges me off is it's the same thing that happened last season! We were flying in the league, won 4 games on the trot including a victory at the San Siro, we have 1 poor result at Blackpool and it finishes us for the rest of the season! We never recovered from that game, and the Arsenal away game looks to have finished us league wise too.

And unless we make a change in the summer the same thing is likely to happen again next spring.

on 5 live he said we were too open (because he changed the system) and that the 4 'forwards' don't defend from the front properly.

still all to play for, big weekend coming, disappointed but we crack on etc etc.

Well if we were so open and recognised it why did he just stand there and watch us getting raped in midfield for 90 minutes.
