Chadli is a bit better than Sig in that he has more pace and can take on a player or two. Sig has been woeful. Even the last ten mins where we got into th egame he has been woeful. We need pace to counter.
 
haven't read the thread so sorry if I'm repeating other people, but this has been infuriating. The most painfully predictable turn of events. I've said it before and I'll say it again - BENTALEB ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH YET!!!!!! He's played okay for us, today is is atrocious - weak, awful passing, awful positioning. I've said this before but he doesn't have a special ability, he's just solid, when what we need tonight is a special ability, someone who can protect the back 4. And that is Capoue. As soon as I saw the team I knew the predictable would happen.

This confirms my suspicions that Sherwood is a clueless ****. What the **** was his plan for tonight because I can't see it... I can never see his plan!!! Why not play capoue agsint this lot?! We gave far too many chances to palace, swansea and man u?! He can't learn!! We've been lucky. Even tonight we've been lucky (bar the goal).... GHod it is frustrating!!!

Bentaleb and Siggurddson for Capoue and Soldado is what I'd do, move eriksen to the left!!!
 
drop siggy and bring on chadli or soldado

preferably chadli for additional work rate, flank play if necessary, a bit of speed and height

but if we bring on soldado i would not mind

dissapointed with sherwoods selection today, why go away from a winning formula of the wonky with a creative wide man on the left?

As a squad player he's fine. If he was in our first choice 11 then we would have problems. A lot of people on here think he's GHod-like though, which I don tunderstand
 
Nice to see Spurs fans have the same attitude as Steaua fans. Find someone who played badly and dump on him all the frustration of a poor match by the whole team. Sooo Siggy it is, that fat bastard...

Hasn't he stuck with the same formation as the last game but with Sig over Chadli?
 
Aguero is a great player, shame he had to go off injured. We need to be stronger and more compact down the middle, we are losing too many challenges and first balls I thought. Great reflexes from Lloris, shame Daws goal couldn't stand.

Emirates Marketing Project will probably dominate possession again 2nd half, but we MUST take our chances when they come ... or we will be punished. Last season Emirates Marketing Project looked disinterested, we had Bale and came back really well to beat them after going behind. We will need to do it again, but it's much tougher this time.

Chadli doesnt have pace at all. Really dont like our bench tonight. We have:
- a ****e full back
- a DM who the manager doesnt play, despite being quite good
- two CFs
- an ineffective wide man
- a [insert whatever you think Holtby is - not quite sure personally]
