Once I saw Turki Alalshikh getting irate, standing up with his arms folded and then having strong words with Warren during the fight, I knew the fix was in.

That was never a draw.
Do you think he really did injure his hand like he was showing when he took his gloves off at the end? Or was it just a poor performance?

Sorry, just seen your quote.

No I don't think he really did break his hand - I wonder will they show xray pics? He was just really poor against a top top boxer. I'd like to see a rematch.

Lol Eubank is so bitter that he's completely irrelevant in boxing. He's never beaten anyone decent and lost both his world title fights. See he's now 35, just trying to cause hype to boost his retirement pot.

They're both a couple of clowns trading on the names of their Fathers.

So official, boxing is now going to be turned into a UFC style set up with Turki el Sheikh basically controlling the whole thing.
Saudi money aside
I love what the Turk has done with boxing in the last few years
We're seeing fights on a regular basis we would have never seen before in huge huge cards

I think that is only true to some extent.

The GGG v Canelos, Fury v Wilder and all the biggest fights of the time were being made like they are now before he came around, boxing politics still exists and the same that happened before happens now still too.

I would also argue at what cost, loads of videos flying about of him running round ring telling boxers what to do, its a really bad look

Looks like some sort of rehash of the World Series of Boxing - click WSB

UFC & WWE owners finalise Saudi deal for boxing league

TKO Group Holdings, which owns the UFC and WWE, has launched a new boxing promotion backed by investment from Saudi Arabia.

The Kingdom has invested heavily in boxing in recent years with Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's general entertainment authority, at the fore.

The UFC and WWE, who merged in a £17.3bn deal under the TKO umbrella in 2023, also hold events in the Kingdom.

In a joint statement. Alalshikh and TKO said they had agreed a "multi-year partnership to establish a new boxing promotion".

It is unclear what the league would look like and who would compete in it, with most of boxing's biggest stars under contract with key promoters such as Eddie Hearn's Matchroom, Bob Arum's Top Rank and Frank Warren's Queensberry.

Most promoters are probably no different to Trump.

As soon as the man with a wheelbarrow of cash enters the room....it like bees round a honeypot.

Does that mean we never need to see Eddie Hearn again?

To be fair he did a lot for the sport and put on some pretty decent cards and generally sorted a lot of title fights. There was a 2-3 year period where they dominated then British boxing declined and he couldn't put on the same cards anymore.
