*** The official 2025/26 Premier League thread ***

Sounds like us during Kane’s last couple of years with us.

They have players who can execute and play a counter to the letter with quality.

Its us when we had Kane and Son under similar managers (I rate Emery BTW but highlights the need for quality)

Depressing isnt it. For a few years I would say we were an average team plus Kane and Son. Now we're just an average team.

Didn't see the game yesterday but I do not enjoy watching us one bit.
Both teams were a mess
Neither knew how to score TBH
They for the first goal form a gift form Romero and the second was deflected cross headed in which Romero was probably fouled
We then just went brick or bust and looked like we may get back into it
Neither side looked like they had a plan but sure some will tell me I’m wrong on that front

This is the problem for me under Frank so far. As for Liverpool they look a shadow of last years' side, only game I thought they really played well was v Arsenal.

They look really really bad
So unstructured and uncoordinated
For us… the table isn’t lying
It’s a weird league this year with such middle ground
We don’t win one of the next two and we will have won 1 in 10 league games I believe
We would also likely be 16th/17th
My gut feel is pool will still be a mess but still be top 5 and any help us as they play Leeds

This is annoying me the most. Liverpool were there for the taking but we blew it.
