They’re being influenced by the fan commentary / watch-along bull.
At the risk of sounding like a grumpy middle aged man, commentary is now about who shouts the most.
They’re also ramping up the partisanship - having clearly club-aligned ex-pros on co-com to drive accusations of bias and in turn outrage clicks.
It’s pretty much unlistenable.
