Its a catchphrase associated with him 'lacks technical ability. And yes Traore is no Fernandez, he can't craft a pass or shot in the same way. But he has amazing technique when it comes to dribbling, so the catchphrase needs a caveat. Technically he is one of the best dribblers playing the game right now. I can't think of better. Of course he needs to do something at the end of the run. But as we saw today, he can cross and he can create openings. He helped Wolves get over the line.
Probaly will always be a frustrating player, but can also improve at 24 .

I'm all for getting Traore. He draws players out of position which will create space for others, yes he needs to improve in most aspects but is young enough to do so and for the money being talked about worth the gamble imo.

This is where I am on it as well. He didn’t even play well tonight but Wolves wouldn’t have won if he didn’t come on. He creates issues for opposition teams and stretches the pitch just by being on it.
Excellent player, but not sure that spending cash on a DM makes sense for us when there are various other priorities

If we had only scored 14 in 19 it would be brought up during every game, but just goes to prove you dont have to score lots of goals to get results. A few 1-0s here and there go a long way

Running with a ball faster than most players can run without a ball, requires technique. If it was just a case of being able to run fast any sprinter could do it and actually they can’t, as with Bolt.
