I do understand the over hype thing being a turn off, it’s just a irresistible narrative for the media though, crazy genius managing lower down the league influences three respected coaches and I suspect it’s their references to him that led recent focus, add in the dirty Leeds back in the Prem it reaches saturation point.

I’ll admit I don’t like Leeds and the whole Leeds being back in the premier league story has been overblown also. Even two seasons ago when they blew it in the playoffs people were saying the PL needs Leeds which is crap. The league is so strong that it doesn’t need any team. It would be weaker if say united or Liverpool went down but every other club is expendable. Especially Leeds who were a massive club in the 70s, 80s and 90s but haven’t been since. One club cities like Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Leeds big fan bases partly because they have no competition in their respective cities. I would put Leeds at about the 9th or 10th biggest club in England. But the way the media are going on about them you’d think they’re the biggest.

Think you might have just nailed it. People get the arse with me in the pub when I tell them it should be on mute as should everyone else unless they are answering a question I have asked.

Let them have the ball as their actually no where near as creative as people think
