So at what point was it 10 points then? Exactly, never. It was 7 points after GW 19 and 20.

It was 10 PTS with City having a game in hand. Of course a game they might win or they might not.

So at that moment best case 10pts worst case 7pts for Liverpool. 7pts is a decent buffer, they blew it. What they certainly didn't do is ' keep the pressure on' and 'push City all the way:.. City did that part by eroding the 7 (10) point gap.

All those teams who lead at New Year win the title.

Only 3 times it hasn't happened....all three times...Liverpool.
