It was woeful. No belief from Stoke, they could have won the game, but shat themselves. That defending was as bad as I've seen. Otherwise Stoke were fine this half. Should have drawn at the least.

Eh. Given how they fare against us these days, I never expected them to do us any favours. Really, the Premier League as a whole has sh*t itself in front of this Chelsea side - we were literally the only team to take the game to them post October (when they switched to a three-man back line), and the rest of the sides have more or less just rolled over and died in front of 'em.

We did what we could do. Not our fault nobody else had the guts to follow our lead.

If they get their heads down they have an outside chance of European football next season. Pretty sure 7th place will qualify now, and an outside chance 8th might do if United were to win the EL and finish outside the Top 4 (could be wrong though...)

If United win the EL, then they would swap their EL place next season for a CL spot and England would only have 2 EL entrants - so 8th position in the league can't qualify for Europe.
 
Erik fudging Pieters either has a bet on Chelsea to win the title or had a bet on Stoke to lose that game.

Seriously, how suss was his involvement in the last few minutes? Terrible effort letting the ball go out for the corner, then teeing Cahill up minutes later with an attempted 'clearance'

He needs to be investigated.
 
fudging hopeless defending by Boro. Only Fellaini in the box, and none of the defenders bother to stay with him. fudging useless!
 
Muddlesbrough are utter brick! Don't think I've seen a team more inept of attacking since that famous Derby team! Couple that with shambolic defending=straight back down to the championship.
 
Rashford looks very very special.

Lucky really that Mourinho is such a plep that he does not really blood youth that well, Rashford over a season would make them better in my opinion
