The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

For the champions to not even average two goals per game, that is fudging pathetic.

2015 Chelsea 69 goals with 3 games to go.
2014 City 102 goals
2013 ManU 86 goals
2012 City 93 goals
2011 Manu 78 goals
2010 Chelsea 103 goals

You have to remember and be fair about it . Jose is no longer working with a rich club .

Or maybe winning isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Filthy tosspot!

Well done to Chelsea and Mourinho for winning the PL title. Chelsea fully deserved it as they were the only consistent team in the PL this season. Spurs can be proud of the fact we are one of only 3 teams to have beaten Chelsea in all competitions this season. Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Bradford being the others. Too bad we couldn't build on from that brilliant 5-3 win.

As for Chelsea, who says money cannot buy success ? Chelsea have now win 15 trophies since Abromovich bought them in 2003, including 4 league and 1 CL trophies. This is why I won't mind if we are bought by a rich owner suddenly. If we want to compete with rich teams like Chelsea and ManCity nowdays, that is the only way we can do it.

We were a rich team once. Then we lost all that when the EPL kicked in. We've started to gain some semblance of pride ever since Martin Jol came in, but we failed to act on the season we got to the CL. We need the europa league and european footy, like it or not.

Everton/Sunderland has just got a bit interesting. I only decided to watch it to keep track of Lennon (a solid 6/10 performance so far).

Nice to see Defoe scoring for Sunderland against Everton. He has been largely disappointing for them this season. But this could be a crucial goal for Sunderland in their relegation battle.

Burnley score their first goal in almost two months, but it's not enough to keep them up. Theory keeps QPR involved for another 24ish hours.

So far ManCity leading QPR 1-0 after 20 mins. Aguero has scored his 23rd league goal of the season. With Kane stuck at 20 league goals, there is no chance whatsoever of Kane becoming the PL's top goal scorer now.
