The NFL Thread

Green Bay will be looking for a new place kicker after Anders Noodleleg - multiple misses on TD conversions this year - whiffs on a simple 41 field goal that could have given the Packers a seven point lead late in the fourth quarter. He misses, San Fran drives and scores a touchdown for a three point victory.

Since limp-legged Anders Carlson can't consistently swing a good boot, he'll be getting the boot. It's a results oriented business.

'Ahh, Mister Kane. Happy to welcome you to tryout camp.'

And so it passes. Anders 'Noodleleg' Carlson cut by the Packers.

The GBP will be in a tricky situation until their star quarterback, Jordan Love, returns in a month or so after straining a medial collateral ligament.

With him, they are in with a shot at a Superb Owl berth. Without him, they will need a miracle to make the playoffs. He's that good.

I had an email from NFL/Spurs about Sunday but doesn't say anywhere what time the stadium opens/closes etc, useful

Cowboys have been toilet and it's all on Jerry, still can't believe we gave Dak $60m a year, he is not that guy, never has been.

He never was and never will be.Giving him that contract is madness .He is not top tier. His record when it matters is absymal.I wish it wasn't so but we haven't come close since the 90's and probably won't under this ownership.

This ownership is never going away, once Jerry pops his clogs it will just be his son doing the same thing.

Has the skills no doubt, but will never be THE guy to win you the big games and I don't think he's gonna develop into that player now. Would love to see it of course...
I think the issue has more often been others.

He has had bad games in the past, but last season ended on a defensive meltdown and shocker from Lamb.
