Thats why we never agreed the deal, now we have a case study to add into the plan.

Either that or getting our name mentioned that often will lead to more overseas fans spending more money on shirts, etc than naming rights could cover.

This was obvious from the get go.
Tie ourselves up with a 10 year deal for the initial (most important) naming rights, in a European market that pays relatively badly OR ramp up the NFL connection getting us engrained in that market and we end up being an NFL stadium, just like the rest, just not in America.
A naming sponsor now has full exposure to the two biggest leagues in the world. And the stadium they're sponsoring is acclaimed as the nuts worldwide.
Check out the naming deals in the last 5 years in America (and Canada) ...someone else will literally be paying for our stadium.
Edit: plus a @scaramanga says maybe we're being double cute and getting a year or two of exposure just for the Tottenham Hotspur brand before signing up with someone.

I think thats the plan, 500m clears a huge portion of our debt, lovely.
You add the times we have been name checked on TV to the mentions in the paper media and social media.
