There we go. Thought I'd get bashed if I made a thread for this. Hoping we can build on our last two strong victories (1-0 against Italy and 5-1 against Scotland). Would be nice just to get some goals against Brazil. Also looking forward to see how Damiao works against a horrific backline.
 
No team has anything to play for in a friendly, why state the obvious? It's just a silly comment to make. The term dead rubber is usually reserved for games in actual competition that are no longer worth anything, such as 3rd vs 4th in a group where neither can qualify.
 
Eh, I'd argue the US has something to play for. They're coming off two huge wins for them against European teams (Italy and Scotland), and they'll want to build on it for Klinsmann. Beating Brazil would do wonders for their confidence and Klinsmann's new system.

Youre probably right tbh play brazil to get prepared for tricky qualifiers against el Salvador, Antigua and Canada.
