The London Thread.

On my recent trip I took Sunday lunch at The Hawksmoor, 7 Dials. Very delicious it was too. I also had some phenomenal Indian food around Wembley. Breakfast at the Wolesley is always an absolute pleasure. I miss my home town but dropping in for a week or two is always a joy.

Looks like my mate is finishing at 5 near Liverpool Street on Saturday. Suggest a pub worth going to to watch the footy?

If he can get away any earlier we'll jump on a train up to Tottenham.
 
Only pub round there i know that shows the football, or at least did a few years back when i used to go round there, is The Gun down by Spitalfields

The Railway might do as well, over the McDonald's side of the station

This isn't going to help you, but just got back from Valencia, where we watched the CL final here (Destino 56), being served tapas by incredibly sexy women. Great way to watch football you're not too worried about being distracted from.

The wife threatened me with going to an Ed Sheeran concert, I said I did not particularly want to go through a second divorce but if she mentioned it again I would.
