There's nothing controversial or factually wrong, but he comes across as thin skinned and emotional. He should concentrate on what is happening now and stop giving the media soundbites. If Frank spent half his time talking about what went on at Brentford I doubt many of our fans would be overly impressed, so I doubt he's doing himself favours with the Forest fans. His interviews here didn't particularly help him either. He could do with some media training, some advice on keeping his answers short and how not to appear so defensive all the time.
I think they are fair points, sometimes he doesn’t help himself. To be fair, lads like Jose and Conte did make it about themselves too.

I just find it all a bit bewildering. Through the international break I saw a lot of coverage of his situation. The fella has been in the job 5 weeks. It’s mad that his job is under threat

If I was judged after 5 weeks in any of my jobs, I’d have been fired every time. IMO football is heading down a very very dangerous road.

Jose and Conte didn’t talk like that in their second job.

He seems to think his career before coming to a proper league has relevance.

There are legitimate questions to ask about his ability to manage in the PL. People will talk about his trophy win or that he finished 5th in his first season. But the biggest question is that you lost 22 games last season and have won none of his PL games this season. When will you turn this form around? The PL is the bread and butter, it's naive to think otherwise. There are plenty of trophy winning managers who have been unable to do well in the PL.

I also think it's possible to let the weight of the PL weigh you down. The press are ruthless and he is being drilled because he has no threshold for it or much charm

Yep as said above, he just doesn't help himself. No one outside of Spurs cares that you won the EL or trophies you won in Scotland or Australia or Japan. It's the PL that counts and he has not done consistently well in it for some time now. He either turns it around quickly or he is toast. And I doubt he'll be employed again by another PL club. Although that said anything is possible.

Oh he will be back

That manager that won us something with his long rambling cringe fest that filled the players with the confidence to get it over the line. I guess you're a Poch fan whose long rambling cringe fest resulted in didly squat. Have a bit of respect for someone who achieved something that you no doubt celebrated, and use to bait gobby gooners.
Oh give it a rest, we beat mediocre teams in a competition we were favourites to win. He also happened to have the luck that his first Europa league campaign with us was at a time non of the champions league teams dropped into it. We finished 17th and didn’t beat a top 5 team from their league at all in the Europa league run. We can go on about giving him respect for winning the trophy but lets not make out it wasn’t a given if we took it seriously.

He doesn't deal well with being in a hole.

The reason being....he's has so much faith in HIS approach....the inkling of a thought it might fail, rattles him.

Simply because, where does it leave him if it does?

This is all internal turmoil, the outsiders are just poking the bear.

All fair enough tbh.

Exactly

All can be true

I just can't imagine what I'd be thinking if I were a Forest fan and my new manager comes in an makes it about himself and his ex-employers.

He needs to get his head down on the current job in hand.

This is why I see him as junior as he can't elevate himself above this type of thing.
