Hello, I have just joined this Forum. Surely I can't be the first new member since April 2022?

Despite growing up near Birmingham, I have supported Spurs since my childhood, in the era of Greaves, Mullery, Chivers, Jennings et al. These days I live in North London, where I've been since the mid 1980s, but I don't go to many matches, home or away. I have grown attached to the annual round of hope followed by disappointment. I try to practise Spursiness in my daily life.

One thing I find a bit odd, is being a lifelong Spurs fan, living in North London, but not going to many games?

I'd give an arm and a leg to have that opportunity, and I spend thousands of pounds just to go to a couple of games a season. But, we all support the team in different ways and have different preferences. No shame in that.

I went to WHL and other London grounds a lot in the nineties and early noughties, but then various life events such as parenthood, divorce, a stint working overseas, and so on, got in the way. These days I go every now and then. I like the new stadium - I think that the architects have managed to maintain an atmosphere.

Yeah, the stadium is absolutely stunning! I've even sat on the seats absolutely highest up in the west stand, and even from there the view was good!

Welcome mate, glad to see another fan who was lucky enough to see the great Jimmy, he was the reason i got into becoming a Spurs fan.
