When they got done by a Djed Spence inspired Forest in the Cup a season or two back I believe.

Almost nothing on main social media sites or standard media today about them choking.
fudging infuriating how much our media is driven by narrative
The press are being unbelievable kind to them considering that they were ahead for so much of the league and had a big points differential. They have bottled it and choked it.
They had it in their hands - that is a bottle job - and they were ahead in those games that they drew.
They are not exactly plucky underdogs as well, they are a huge brand with a chunky bit of revenue behind them
They have a £30 million gaol keeperJesus cost £50 million etc.
They aren't going to get this chance again. We all know from the 15/16 and 16/17 years that if you don't take your opportunities in this league, that if you don't grasp it, they might never come around again.
So many teams are going to be tooled up next season.
It's hard to admit you've been wrong about something, particularly when you've been bigging it up for 8 months.
Losing two goal leads against out-of-sorts Liverpool and West Ham, and not beating Southampton (relegated) and Brighton at home, is the very definition of bottling it. They've lost to City three times this season, but could have still won it.The press are being unbelievable kind to them considering that they were ahead for so much of the league and had a big points differential. I’ve absolutely no problem saying I was convinced they were going to win the league from as far back as around November. Even up to yesterday. I thought winning at SJP would give them the momentum to win their remaining 3 games and I thought City could slip up at Everton. It’s been nice looking back on this thread from a few months ago, plenty of posters only too happy to present the title to the Goons in Dec-Mar. Probably a self defense mechanism where if it happens they can feel smug and say I told you so, but if it doesn’t happen then, well, the Goons haven’t won the league (Hopefully it’s less satisfying though knowing they were so wrong).
I saw that earlier and burst out in laughter! Saying Tyler is biased AGAINST Arsenal is fudging hilarious! The irony.....
Amazing, what planet does he live on !?The irony.....
