This is the problem. If you throw a sickie you take two days so it doesn’t look like a hangover. Maybe even 3 or 4 days then ‘drag yourself on’ in a Friday so you can say ‘if I was blagging it why wouldn’t I have just taken the whole week’.

There’s just no shame or punishment for being caught lying anymore.

He literally just admitted they called it off because they had inexperienced players.
That's what happens, deal with it. If you got loads of injuries you bring the young players in.

That said, he has a point - those players are not ready "for premier League football", so it wouldn't be fair on them. The problem with that is....the same applies to the whole Norwich squad.

If covid protocols continue into next season there will need to be some kind of clear directive that States if you have X number of players from the your registration squad of 25 for reasons out of your control (so not Intl call ups or because you loaned them out) then you can apply for postponement, but you should still make a suitable effort to play the game.
