The glorious march to CL qualification

Their 12 points up on last season so are 25% better in points terms

I still don’t think they will get top 4 as they will need back to back away wins but who can tell with these teams
 
I think Emry is similar to Wenger - which is praise really. But like wenger I'm not sure he'll be consistent. We are not consistent either. But we do it with less resources currently, and we outshine them. We're a classier outfit. Always have been.

Where to begin!
From their first south london ground being on an open sewer, to backhanders to climb the leagues, to ownership by criminal Uzbecks etc.

In real terms, Poch's focus on hard work and application. That we don't spend much, a lot less than them yet we show more. From Kane, Winks, Rose etc progressing though. To our fans who are not glory hunters. To our new stadium vs their wembley-like bowl. Lots to be proud of.

I try hard not to be too tribal as I loath it!
Forgetting the history I think we are very similar!
I couldn’t say that about say Chelsea or West Ham to give context.
I think Arsenal are in a bit of a mess as they don’t seem to know whether to stick or twist.

Well at least we’ve moved up from being a feeder club for ManUre / Dippers to now having our star players linked with Real / Barca where they can expect become champions of Europe... if only our Double winners hadn’t been robbed by dodgy officials in 1962 European Cup semi-final and we’d become the first English club to win that competition...

I do agree. There isn't a lot different. They are like us. The are my neighbours and friends. Only diffrence is they do have a fair few glory hunters. Who came onboard for the good times. We don't for obvious reasons!

Yeah I get that but don’t think it factors in timing of fixtures, home and away bias correctly (who can tell with us never playing at home)

What I like was something I read earlier... repeat the result against the sides we have to play again and we get 79 points... that’s a record high if we don’t get top 4 with that

Well, records are there to be broken...
After all, we are the only team in history to finish in a position that qualifies for the CL, yet we didn't qualify for the CL.
