The glorious march to CL qualification

Perspective yes. Needed to focus to beat Everton and we didn't. We got top 4 - Hurrah.
European cup final in 3 weeks, the most important prize we can play for and furthest we’ve ever gone in the competition, along with securing top 4 ahead of our north London rivals, with an injury list no other club in the league experienced.

Tough crowd doesn’t cover it!

I'd go and spend £150m this summer on Butland, Wan-Bissaka, Gomes, Sessignon, plus new contracts for Eriksen, Toby and Super Jan. 3 new English players, one foreign who is a good premier league player, and if there's cash left over a bit of Digne.

I'm not even sure limp is the right word, we were limping, then tripped up and the forward motion from the resulting fall just about carried us over the line.

That isn't to discredit the effort from the players, coaching staff and all involved in the club though, good times ahead.

I'd given my neighbour's left leg for Sessegnon at the start of the season, but he has been utterly underwhelming to me. He hasn't even stood out in a horrible side. I don't personally get the thing about Gomes either, but then again I haven't looked particulary hard either. Wan-Bissaka looks like a useful player.

Spurs clinching a Top Four spot visualized - :p

I thought so - just they said on Soccer Saturday we didn't want to finish third because we'd have to qualify. I thought the rule might have been changed back!! Turns out it was just the Arsenal and Liverpool pundits getting things wrong again!

Completely agree.

The Champions League final is the biggest game in world in club football. It is an amazing achievement for us to get there. I never thought I'd see it.

Remember when we used to struggle domestically after playing in Europe? Not this year. We've gone as far as we can in Europe and qualified for next year's competition through the league.

All this and no pre-season, rotten luck with injuries and playing most of the season away from home.

Just thankful that UEFA changed the rule permitting 5 teams from same nation in CL, as I’m nervous enough about final even without having to worry about a repeat of 2012 should the Goons beat the Chavs!
