Guessing that you had money left over when you sold your Serie A Team? The Premiership players are the most expensive that I find in the game.
I was lucky earlier and found Neymar in a pack. I sold him for 125,000 and have since bought Van Persie and a few others that I dislike in reality but play well in the game.
I have a team now of:

Terry.... I know, dislike him too and thinking of upgrading to Kompany

Epic team, seriously. Brilliant goalkeeper in Inter Milan's Handanovic, makes saves you wouldn't even think were possible, probably the best goalkeeper you can get in the league. Jonathan, another one from Inter Milan, rapid quick and a very solid defender, Ogonna next at centre half, probably the quickest centre half in the league with 80 pace. Barzagli next, probably my most expensive player, was going to get Chiellini but he cost too much in the end and it wouldn't of allowed me to fill a bench, no worries. Armero at left back, so rapid and brilliant to control.
Biabiany has 96 pace, unbelievable right side I have. Then Marchisio just dictating play in the middle, what a brilliant player he is, my second most expensive after fellow Juventus player Barzagli and than another quick Colombian on the left in Zuniga from Napoli. Linking well with him in attacking midfield is Hamsik and Coutinho alongside him who is awesome to control, 92 dribbling!
Muriel up top who has like 91 pace, very good to play with the Colombian from Udinese. I have a solid bench too which consists of the likes of Nocerino, Nagatomo, Abel Hernandez, Stekelenberg etc.

Stekelenberg is an amazing keeper, mate of mine has him in his team and when we meet in friendlies his keeper stops almost every shot! Muriel is an excellent striker and a bargain buy who is cheap and very quick but with good finish.
Your team sounds excellent, and definitely would cost a fraction that my side did.

Had a crack at UT. started out with a bunch of terrible bronze players and I am getting matched against gold teams! managed to win 1-0 which was quite funny...until it crashed on the player ratings screen at the end and gave me a DNF.

- Completing the Manager Tasks will get you a gold pack, either use what is inside or sell for profit.
- Winning the early leagues is quite easy to be honest, or even promotion is and you get coins for that, buy cheap rares (shiny golds) with that.
- Invest in contracts, you can get contracts for real cheap, if you hold on to them, you can eventually sell them for a big profit then what you got them for, meaning more coins, meaning better players.

After a promising start with my Serie A team, I decided to pack it in and sell all of the bastards. Going to go back to a predominant Premier League team really. I have reverted to 4-3-3 and so far my team is looking like this (and not very good at all).

As I said, not the best. Gone for quite a Belgian spine with Kevin Miralles up top and Dembele and Fellaini dominant figures in the middle of the park as well as Vertonghen at the back. Jagielka and Howard in there too as they are both Everton and link up well with eachother as well as Fellaini. Same reason for Walker being there alongside Vertonghen (who links well with Fellaini and Dembele)
Enrique from Liverpool at left back links well with Cazorla in central midfield, and I have also put Tello on the wing from Barcelona and he is amazing. I decided to go for him as he is Spanish and very good to play with, links up well with Cazorla of course.

Torres leading the line up top who is absolutely deadly on this game, will cost me in the region of 55,000 coins however. Pedro from Barcelona on the left, linking with Cazorla as well as Torres up top, will cost only about 10,000 coins and he is very good, was between him and David Villa and I'd say he nicks it!
Mata at right wing, who'll cost about 55,000 coins too, he plays "CAM" on this game but I'll just play him out of position there, shouldnt harm chemistry really as he'll link up well with Spanish Torres as well as fellow Premier League player Sessegnon in the middle who I will look to bring in. It was between him and Kagawa as I've played with Kagawa before and he was amazing, but Sessegnon tops him on pretty much EVERY stat amazingly, plus he'll cost over half of what Kagawa would.
Most annoying thing about that is Pedro is a LW and Cazorla is playing left side of central midfield and I am looking to bring in Vermaelen to play right centre back so he links well with right back Sagna. So I am missing out on that bit of link up between them three!
Evra at left back to link with Ferdinand, both together will cost about 32,000 which isn't bad at all and Vermaelen and Sagna together about 26,000, Vermaelen in to link with Dembele in the middle who will stay from the original squad and to link with Sagna who is the best right back in the Premier League on the game.
Really don't know for goal. Reina is pretty much half the price of Cech but obviously not as good but he isn't bad neither. Cech has very solid stats. Hart and Lloris are out of the picture, not spending THAT much on a goalkeeper. It's definitely a toss up between Cech and Reina though.
Or i'll just go for De Gea

Pretty sure thats Fifa Manager where you sell the ad spaces? Can also design.your own team and start right at very bottom, almost sunday league... Made my team from Haverhill and it had generated a league full of teams from the surrounding local villages and towns which I found pretty impressive.

LMA had all of the adverisign gubbins, FIFA Manager had all sorts of land development stuff and all sorts as I remember.
Personal problem for me is that if you start at the bottom, by the time you work your way to the top, all the players you know are retired and you're not as invested in the game.
How good would it be if you could start out in the 70s and work your way up through the decades, but with a kicker, you know who the stars should be, but that doesn't mean they are going to be world beaters... Can you turn Recoba into the player he should have been, could you bring Terry Dixon through at Spurs without the injuries and turn him into the ginger Rooney... Could you turn Ginger Pele into an actual striker?!!!
The potential would be amazing, you could see if you could actually put a good team together with Acimovic, Blondel, Old John and Toda!!!

I mainly buy formation cards or players for a few hundred coins cheaper then they are worth and then sell them on, its a slow process but dont buy packs its really not worth it. You may get very lucky and get an awesome player, but you mainly get rubbish. I then make the rest of my coins playing games
