i only started on the scene around 2005 but was lucky enough to go to The End, Turnmills, and Canvas (which was part of The Cross) quite a few times before they shut.
went to the last night of The End iirc and a few other nights there - DJ Marky & Friends, Circo Loco and Viva Harlem Nights - was a great club, especially when the AKA bar above was open as well. Turnmills was a funny one - such a weird club, used to get some right messes in there and the bouncers being total ****s are my overriding memories :lol:
Yea nothing touched the End.
Turnmills had a very strange crowd some nights. I witnessed two girls taking turns to munch each other out on the edge of the dance floor.
Never went to last night at the End would have loved to.
