got my* tried and trusted Chilli Con-Carne recipe bubbling away on the hob right now, not exactly haute cuisine - but damn it's good

I love to cook, will try anything.

Have the family over every couple of months as Guinea pigs. Family as in brothers, sisters and parents.

The duck with montmorency cherries went down very well last time.

I'm allergic to oranges, even zesting an orange if the spray lands on me I come out in huge heat spots. Been like that since I was a kid, wife didn't believe me until I made a cosmopolitan one night and she wanted the orange peel in it. Freaked her out.

I cook it in a slow cooker during the day. Then peel off the skin, cover it in mustard and honey and chuck it in the oven for half an hour.

I just use the ironing board cover, it's really good if you've just finished the ironing. Nice it warm on your boaby.
