Blue Lines for me too and by some distance.
Definitely Maybe has some decent tracks and it is the best Oasis album by some distance but they were a singles band for me and I think that they never got the knack of maintaining that over a longer form. I think that Oasis always had an issue with quality control here, it becomes more of a problem later in their career when the songs started to dry up but it is already evident here.
Blue Lines on the other hand is an out and out classic and would be considered one no matter when it was released. It was hugely influential and it's influence has hardly dimmed twenty five years later.
Voting for Oasis here would be like picking Slade over Marvin Gaye.
I don't agree with that, Noels 8th album (High Flying Birds) was clearly his best imo
