arsenal -4 and liverpool -16 keeps us looking respectable.

west ham and swansea are really flying...if any thing mitchell should be looking that way for bargain buys with proven league experience

Have you got the results from last year vs what we have this year? If we hit 74pts i think that will be enough so just need to match last seasons results from now on?
 
So our remaining fixtures are:

QPR (A) - won last season (Cardiff)
Manure (A) - won
Leicester (H) - won (Norwich)
Burnley (A) - won (Fulham)
Villa (H) - won
Saudi Sportswashing Machine (A) - won
Soton (A) - won
City (H) - lost
Stoke (A) - won
Hull (H) - won
Everton (A) - drew

Which basically means we have to go on a serious winning streak to improve on last season's points total. I can see us struggling to match our Old Trafford win, and Soton will certainly not make it easy for us either. We'll need 7 wins and one draw to match last season's 69 points. That's doable. But more than that, I don't think so.
 
I think we would need 71-72pts to be in the Mix - 8 wins. Guess Loss to Emirates Marketing Project and Man Utd and win the rest. Big ask but dont think its beyond us. Timings are probably quite favourable as not sure many of those clubs will have much to play for when we play them. Next 2 are crucial win next 2 and i could see us winning the 4 after that. Will be between us and Liverpool i think, Man Utds run-in is very difficult and luck will run out
 
We remain 6 points ahead with another must-win coming up next weekend.

We're now equal with our record PL points haul season. With ten games to go, 70 points is definitely attainable, just need to average 2 ppg.

I would think the comparison table would be more accurate if last seasons relegated and this seasons promoted teams were left out of the equation, as the points will differ based on which relegated/promoted team is replaced with which.

It's not that random, bottom team is replaced by playoff winner, second from bottom with second placed team and third from bottom with Championship winners.

Their relative strength might vary, but once you've played all of them the net gained/dropped points will be the same, no matter how it's set up.
