the sheer will of both men to make the other play just one more shot....then the accuracy and variety of shot

and love it when del potro puts the afterburner on his groundstrokes as though it is the only option to get past the human wall
 
Excellent game. There have been a lot of amazing points and plot twists for a game that has pretty much gone to serve.
 
Absolutely incredible match! So wanted Del Potro to win but credit to Djokovic for coming through especially after that recent heartbreak at Roland Garros. Del Potro will win another slam one day.
 
I ain't a huge tennis fan but I do take time to watch Wimbledon. But the Djokovic game was fantastic! Glad andy Murray won as well cos that bloke he played was a tosser!
 
Don't really watch a lot of tennis so I have two questions:

1) Has a phrase ever been more apt for a sport than "Djokovic broke back early"?

2) Why is Arnie commentating?
 
If Murray wins this, which he shoudl, he ows Del Potro a pint. All things being equal, Djokovic is the stronger. But in this final, Djokovic doesn't have his usual strength.
 
This period of brilliance in British sport just keeps on producing, been a fantastic few years to be british !!!!
