Technology And Refereeing

Not a fan of this idea, GPS positioning is not accurate enough to make out a difference of centimetres, if anything the decisions will be more controversial than now and it's bad enough now.

That is putting it mildly, it been a joke.

It's not gps. The cameras in the stadium monitor the sensor.

I don't like having to manually review it. Should just alert the ref. He then decides whether to blow or not. No time wasted at all.

I think the review makes sense for now as it's being used for the first time (at this level? not sure if trialled elsewhere in competitive games?) but once proven to work then the additional check should be dropped.

They do in J1 but this was J2, hence the goal didn't count.

It was tongue in cheek; that's the kind of blatant error I wouldn't be surprised to see VAR overlook, so they can spend five minutes debating whether or not an eyelash was offside instead.

Its the incompetent referee’s who make the decision for VAR, of course the decisions were going to be controversial.

Refs behind decisions on pitch, refs behind them in a room with video, mistakes on mistakes.....get rid

Taken about 5 mins to allow the kast Palace goal. Proper liberty
