Vidal for £27m or Ings for £24m literally ridiculous isn't it
I think he burnt his bridges a bit last year
£70m for a top player is a starting point, mental!Vidal for £27m or Ings for £24m literally ridiculous isn't it
Tbf he has had it both ways, a lot
That's irrelevant, though, isn't it? What we ask for and what we are willing to pay are two different things. No way should we be asking what we ask for players.
It’s the market
Players are worth what someone is prepared to pay for them.
Tbf he has had it both ways, a lot

Not really.
The selling club is now in control.
They won’t sell for under what they want.
If palace want 75 million for Zaha they are under no pressure to sell for less
The selling club is now in control.
Well he’s generally sold our players for above market value and purchased players for good value. Any approach is never going to have 100% success rate, but we’ve done very well with the constraints we have....Seem to miss out on players due to his approach, or brings them in late which has cost us in previous years.
So if that’s what he wants sure
Who does not love it both ways.
That's irrelevant, though, isn't it? What we ask for and what we are willing to pay are two different things.
How idle, distracted or unloved does one have to become to be regularly posting or reacting to the sort of twaddle the transfer windows routinely offer up?
Completely. Go back 10+ years and it was a buyers' market. The last 2-3 years have turned into a heavily seller's market. Look at Liverpool asking £120m or whatever for Coutinho, the Mahrez deal, reported price expectations for Zaha, £75m for DVD....if a bigger club comes calling, the selling club would set the price. If Real called us about Kane, it would be £350m - £400m or no deal
Kevin Mirallas
Cheap, available, versatile WF/CF, another for the Dutch contingent, Poch seemingly wanted him 2-3 years ago, a better option than Nkoudou and Sissy.
This summer's Llorente signing?
Not very good?
