I see that Mourinho is expecting Toby to join them this summer although they have pulled the plug on Martial leaving. I'd make it very clear that we can keep Toby for another year and sell for £25 million next summer, at the same time as Martial become available on a free.

I should not promote violence but Moanrinho needs a slap in the face the odious macaron.

Of course he's a bit of a gamble. However taking Mane as an example, he was £34m to buy from Southampton...what would he have cost after 1 year at Liverpool? First season there he got 13 goals and 5 assists in 27 games - not that they would have sold him but at that point he's produced the goods for a team at the top of the league so valuation would have increased way beyond the £34m.

There will always be a bit of a gamble with signing someone like Zaha, Richarlison, Mane (from southampton)...they've produced the goods for a lower league team, but will it be the same at a top team? That's where good scouts earn their corn I guess....

Mane had two seasons at Southampton scoring 25 goals in 75 games, Richarlison played 41 games and scored 5 goals ( most of them in the good two months he had). So compering them is like chalk and cheese ( imo).
