You can go to the top, click a little drop down arrow and SNV or Random will be a link

forum actions -> general settings -> [Under Thread Display options] set "Number of posts to show per page"

Can choose 5, 10, 20, 30 or 40

Has this been changed? All I see under Thread Display options are Visible Post Elements, Thread Display Mode and Default Thread Age Cut Off.
