Spurs: Your worst moments......

Parker even admitted it after the FA Cup Semi ("I'm not sure the manager trusts us"). Parker. GHod knows how those with a lesser mentality in the squad feel.

I heard some journalists (on the Life's a Pitch videos) quoting Harry as saying he needs to find a mentally strong team for the last five games. They mentioned the Parker quote as well.

it's the manager - the main man, the guy that everything revolves around, the one that leads the team - you cannot underestimate the effect a half interested unfocused/unmotivated manager would have on his players, to suggest it has little to no effect is ridiculous

that's no to say the players are totally without blame

THIS

I think it's fatigue more than a lack of desire. Look at the way Bale charged into the crowd to get the ball back from the QPR fans when they hid it to waste time. He was clearly tinkled off and clearly wants to win.

The problem is that Harry didn't rotate the squad enough in the early part of the season and now everybody is knackered.

Oh dear, I get very worried for managers when fans start coming out with this one. When we were winning and I don't remember many saying 'praise the players as well as Harry!' The players are a reflection on the manager. He gets the credit when it is going well, he takes the blame when it isn't.

I think Levy time and time again makes it hard for managers but, on this occasion, we are not majorly short anywhere. I don't really buy the tiredness excuse. We had more games last season and we started winning again at the end too. This just isn't good enough at the moment and Redknapp has to take it on the chin.

people seriously need to get over this brick. teams have bad runs. arsenal had a bad run to be in seventh in the first place. man utd had a bad run almost ten points clear at the top of the league. this constant looking back is getting more than tedious. we've just finished fourth ffs. it's not our GHod given right, we're not liverpool fans, let's just enjoy what we've achieved thus far.

brilliant thread.

man utd were also 8 points clear at the top with much less games to go and lost the title. Who cares, it happens. We still finished 4th after an unbelievable season filled with excitement, brilliant games, some of the best football I have ever seen us play and have a chance to play in the CL once again next season.

To be honest its important to view this fact, as you have to find where our season went "wrong". Perhaps our fitness wasnt the best, maybe we didnt have enough cover etc. Ie better to learn now than go through the same run next year wondering what went wrong.

You also have to remember had the Scum beaten Wigan at home they would have been 11 clear of us. So they also bottled it. We just bottled it ever so slightly more.

But at the risk of sounding repetitive the same DID happen the season before. We collapsed big time then too.
