Spurs vs Southampton, the OMT no-one wants to start

The reason we give up so many chances at the back post is due to the lack of defensive responsibility from our wingers.

Spence overlapped Son, we lost the ball and Son kind of half arsed ran back to cover Spence then let the Southampton player run past him in acres of space down that wing. Its as if he ran to make it look like he was covering and then thought job done it isn’t my job. He should be following that player until Spence comes back to swap back over but it doesn’t happen.

He done all the hard work to win it back, we are 2-0 up he has all the right to go for that if he wanted. I personally think he should have squared it but if you do all of the work then i am not against going alone in that situation.

Not sure why Son was moaning for, Spence has been doing the work for both of them.
You should pick the right option no matter what you've dont to get in that position.

As I've already said, the only one that is falling below the desired intensity is the captain. I'm not expecting a polished Spurs just yet but wish Sonny would show some leadership. He is holding back.

I'd love to see Tel on at half time. Gray and Richi for Bents and Solanke as well. Sarr deserves to get involved at some stage.

Gotta give Brennan the chance to get the hatrick.

If it had gone in we would all be praising the hard work to win the ball etc. Who says if he passed it the player would have scored anyway? Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
