So the King of Horror has passed, 93 was a good innings
Wasn't this the hoax rumour that did the rounds? Seems completely out of taste that people start Facebook rumours like this seemingly with malicious intent.
I realise that this thread was created for genuine reasons, believing the great thespian to have died but, I don't believe that he has. Certainly, a quick search finds no other confirmed sources. I'm hoping that he is still in good health. He's done remarkably well for a 93 year old. He's lived a life that will be long remembered too, when his time comes.
He has been cast in so many pivotal roles & movies. He'll be remembered long in to the future. I just hope that he can have a good future here first.
Nothing seen on BBC web, not even entertainments page.
AFAIK the only genuine secret agent in the Bond films.
I suspect he'd be in trouble either at work or with friends if he let that be known (my guess is work). How do you know this?
It may not be online right now but I can confirm that he died in London on Sunday. I would not post such a story if it were not true
I must confess I would have expected the news to have posted on the BBC website by now, but maybe they have not been informed. I simply assumed it was known at the time I started this thread
Besides, nothing is gained by posting a false and malicious story about a person's death apart from ridicule

And that, dear boy, is how to lose credibility. If you saw it happen, and knew it was him, then say so otherwise leave yourself some wriggle room.
Dude, this is not some sick joke, the guy has passed, wiggle room not needed.
That's enough for me.Dude, this is not some sick joke, the guy has passed, wiggle room not needed.
Hmm, Naija does seem very certain. But for nothing to be mentioned by now seems odd. Particularly when his representatives have apparently come out on Monday saying he is alive.
When I first skim-read that I missed the word "Sir" and was about to reply that yes, there probably are a handful of Christopher Lees aged 93 in London!Yes I am surprised it has not come out yet. I can only believe it is because his family for whatever reason have not released it yet. Any story about a representative saying he is still alive is false, unless there were two 93 year old men called Sir Christopher Lee living in London.
The truth is when I posted it on Monday evening I assumed the news was all over the internet.
