Sick sick world what is wrong with people

Former UKIP leader mis-uses statistics to make a somewhat race targeted claim? Who would have thought it?????

Saying it in the House of Lords doesn't make it any more accurate that saying it at the pub.

A simple explanation why the statistics you have quoted are probably significantly over-stated, possibly deliberately.

The figures used for Rotherham are based on an estimate of all sexually exploited children in the area, not about grooming gangs, or white victims, or Muslim or Pakistani perpetrators. These have been conflated together to make a deliberate race focused point. Similarly the extrapolation from another set of data (Oxfordshire/Oxford) takes the assault figures for the county and imposes it on a city population 1/5th of the size to make the estimated number look 5 times bigger. Overall, the Pearson quote takes 3 limited investigations into sexual abuse hotspots and uses a very heavy hand to extrapolate that to across the country to get a headline. And then wraps it up in a totally unsupported claim that 225,000 of those rapes are by Muslims (ethnicity and religion isn't recorded and all the original reports say is that 'many' of the assaults were carried out by Muslims).

3.1 million people in the UK say they have been sexually assaulted. 8% of the population. It is probably higher because a lot still goes unreported, especially in domestic situations. Even so this leaves at least 2.9 million people that you don't seem particularly concerned about because it doesn't fit your viewpoint.

We don't do accuracy here.............

Interesting how quiet it is on here when the Epstein files seems to zoom in on rich powerful white men doing the dirty.

Amazing that the only person no serving time for all these crimes is a woman whilst all the men seemingly can continue to roam the world free

There is part of me who thinks he is just purely trolling, but then I also hope that, because being serious, if he isn't you have to worry about the guy and not only that, anyone that has the misfortune to live with such a gong show

That's Scara. People like him don't realise how they validate radical views when they post stuff they don't mean for bants. Danish was supported by Scara and Marky and Silly and now they have all taken a hiatus while he continues to spiral on here.

If its not banter or trolling then I def worry about the state of the guys mind.

Why is race and religion documented in practically every other type of crime by the UK legal system but not with sexual assault?

Collected with actual charge. They can absolutely produce the data if they chose to.

I don't think thats true at all, but lets consider it is, you don't see how problematic the quality of that data might be?

You have a white man like myself who is Jewish by birth, who would say I have no religion, so how does that then present itself at accurate? Whats the fail safe for those that lie? How do you differentiate between a Pakistani Muslim and a Hindi from Indian if you can't tell the difference and either refuse or lie about their religion?

The data set would be absolutely useless in terms of accuracy and from what I can tell they don't collect religion at all for that reason, but happy to be pointed to where they do???

There is no reason why you could not differentiate that and in any serious crime the police would know a pattern of behaviour that would indicate how religious a person is. You could even grade it.

So how do you tell a white person's religion if they decide to not disclose it?

We live in a surveillance state. Even me in the US where there are meant to be more restrictions than in the UK and Europe. When it gets to the point of actually charging someone with a crime they will know more about you than you even know about yourself.

Sorry mate but thats ridiculous nonsense, the whole fabric of religion means I can be whatever I want on any given day, so being able to lie about it becomes massively easy and means the data would be some of the weakest available. Religion is something where you literally can't tell someone what they are, its as much personal choice as it is anything.

Are the roundabout painters gonna be angry about this one? Or do they only shag flags when Tommy tells em to?
