Not how evolution works. How and why would there be selection against it? Unless everything is IVF, gamete donors.

You think women are going to choose empathy-free individuals to have children with to such an extent that it becomes a major factor?

There needs to be a selection pressure for a trait to establish or disappear.
 
I was born in Halifax. When that abuse was perpetrated I was there. The case is awful. The town has spoken about it for years. I spent my early years there.
 
A group of Sussex university students who have set up a Sussex university reform group have been targeted with death threats and vandalism.

At a university that prides itself on free speech. The university have had to bring in extra police protection for them.

Now I consider reform to be an extension of the uni party system that got the country into the mess it's in. But I would still expect that they should have the right to existence.

When did places of education become so biased and far left echo chambers. Oh that's right they always have been.

Odd because I have seen people with Sussex university banners supporting Hamas, the group that kill gay people by throwing them off roofs. Funny lot those leftie lot
 
Terrible news coming out of Manchester last night about 7 people being stabbed last night.

Just saw the headline so don't know what caused it. Rare to hear of 7 people being stabbed in one area in one night.

Yes, if course they will. As resources become more scarce with a ballooning population and environmental pressures, those who are more developed mentally will take a greater share of those resources. Those with empathy and other such drags on success will have less if a chance to survive.

This a new thing for the right wing extremist element, that is projecting selfishness as a good thing and compassion and empathy as bad things. I mean, the Tories have always promoted greed as a virtue, but this is being taken to a whole new level. Personally, kind people always appear to me to be the most intelligent. In contrast nasty, selfish people come across as incredibility stupid on most occasions when I am unfortunate enough to meet them. This has also been my experience on here as well.

The MET reporting that the were 9,744 rapes in the Capital last year. That is just over 1 an hour.

Crazy that number and one wonders why so high, is it just better reporting that has such a high number or have a led a sheltered life and have men always been such vile monsters. Cant think of any other reasons for such a high number, must just be better reporting the last couple of years.

Women feel more empowered to report it.

The views on rape and the claims in this country in the 80s, 90s and even the 00s were such that women were not being believed and prosecution hard to come by.

Covid period also makes up for a spike in that when domestic violence and household rape went through the roof.
