He’s not looking for my empathy and I’m not going to be empathetic about something I’ve not witnessed. I can only judge Luton on my expiriences with him and you giving me a vague idea of conversations from many years ago when I’ve seen conversations from days ago get misrepresented isn’t gonna change chat.
Maybe there should be a seperate politics thread where everyone plays nice and another one where people can actually get into it. I suspect Luton would trend towards the war room as well
Personally, I am not really interested in surface level conversations. I’ve seen you say multiple times about people “condemning” x, y, z crime. I get it but what does it even mean? To me that’s the “thoughts and prayers” line you get from American politicians. It’s just words. I’m interested in understand and discussing why stuff happens and I think culture plays a major part.
