Seen both live many times. Harry will always shade it for me based on talent. Both fantastic scorers for club and country.
However, what I would say is that both let their country down. Shearer let his country down for quitting international football at 29 when we needed him. Kane let his country down by pulling on the shirt and not giving everything for the 3 Lions shirt from about 27/28 onwards.
I'm also thinking that Shearer deserves his post football career. He's a very good pundit, warm and dry personality and still a fine student of the game. I very much doubt Harry will be afforded the same thing. He's just one of those dumb, boring footballers who should disappear along with his deserved fortune and fantastic family. The last thing we need is his 3 brain cells talking to us about football matters on a Saturday evening
The Spurs player I'm most intrigued about for a post football career is Ben Davies. I think he can be whatever he wants. Pundit, coach or even go down the DoF path. Different level. I'm not his biggest fan as a player, but hope he stays in football for many decades.
