Its coming, I agree with @Lilbaz in that so far they have spent well and Howe has done a really good job, many of their high spend players came before.

That said the new owners should never have been allowed, using shells to get round PL rules to get into the league stinks but thats on the PL.

As for their fans, I stopped reading what they said years ago when they started believing that they were the greatest fans in the world because they are "geordies"
 
Shirt deal set to be passed. An increase on the last one of £18m (from £7m to £25m pa). How's that 'fair market value'?!

They are backed by a gulf state who are going to plough money in to make them competitive on the pitch - fair market value would be on par with what the rest of the top 4/5/6 get as that is where they are now as a club
