Simon Jordan called this brilliantly yesterday. Firstly, of course he went for the money. And most of us might well do the same in his shoes. Just don't treat us like fools by saying it's anything else.

On the LGBTQ+ issue, Simon Jordan said some of these lads, like Henderson, are happy to support a cause until that support then comes with a consequence. And they aren't happy to suffer the consequence for their beliefs which calls into question how strong their beliefs are to start with. And Simon Jordan is right. For me, Henderson is the ultimate virtue signaller and he's gone down hugely in my estimation after this interview.

I think the mark of someone is when faced with those decisions for sure.

And that mark is further watered down when the reason you turned your back on your 'beliefs' is money....when money is not something you need.

(unless he has a gambling problem, which he hasn't, as you wouldn't move to Saudi)​

Christ on a camel. Want to become instantly obscure? Go play Saudi league football. Sure, you'll earn some big, unjustified paydays but no one will remotely care what you do on the pitch. Nor will you be respected for taking their money.

Lionel Messi is an absolute force for change here in Norfa Merica with his incredible play for Inter Miami. No one over here gives the first flying fcuk about that bleating, posturing pork chop playing in Saudi and he and his well-paid colleagues get zero coverage.

I only ever see any reference to it on here, if someone deleted this thread then I can honestly say I would probably forget all about it until the next transfer window
