Rodrigo Bentancur

Yes 100% . Just the way he moves he’s got that languid style about him.

Think if he moves the ball just a little quicker he could be a real world beater .
He plays a lot of 1 touch passes. If anything, it's more a lot of our other players that aren't prepared for it, as sometimes they look unprepared for the quick passes.

I’d say the opposite
He takes a lot of touches and as such can look casual
Rice and Soucek will target that on Sunday

Which would mean they are high up the pitch. Which could be good for us.
They are both very strong runners so they are happy getting Hugh up as their defence sits ball deep
And they will of course target Romero on set pieces

Not so much in my opinion . As Bedford said sometimes he takes to many touches .

This guy.
Even Alan Smith on comms was giving him a lot of credit.
A pleasure to watch, seeing him control with ease and pick out passes. A masterful ball to Kane to set up the second goal.
As part of an even better team next season, we could be witnessing a key signing.

The player I thought Hobjerg was supposed to be. Don't mean any disrespect to PEH, he can still improve but he needs to let his football do the talking. Betancur does exactly that.

I don’t think it’s a case of one or the ortjer. With both on centre mid today we were able to boss West Ham for most of the game. They picked up on this in match of the day, potentially this is a very tidy partnership at the heart of our midfield

Not saying you're wrong in your assessment of Bentancur, but PEH was similarly impressive in the first few months of his few season (and still definitely a valuable player.)

I cant under stand all this praise, Bentancur is getting, Sherwood, keeps telling us, how bad a player he is, and only passes sideways and backwards.

Nob jockey (Sherwood)
