for arguments sake . . .

let's say someone somewhere has gotten a text/call/email/carrier pigeon from a person they know at the club saying "Soldado is done blah blah blah" - now this late in the deal after so many days of reports and what not there will always be a news outlet somewhere reporting something along those lines - it doesn't mean that the person in question hasn't had it confirmed by a source does it?

He didn't get no call, email, voicemail, msn message via their messenger service etc etc etc imo. He read something that has got him excited and probably from the Valencia end. I was 100% confident their would be an update as soon as he posted that crap and oh look..oh look...around 1 hour later (not even that?) we get quotes from the Valencia end.

but I saw that and would never have the balls or desire to claim he has signed...........(a) because I do not crave internet fame & (b) I care that much about us signing a striker that I wouldn't dare be flippant about us signing one unless I had concrete intel.

I haven't been on this forum as long as you or mumorn, I enjoy reading both of your views.........

I don't want to believe Mumorn would claim we have signed him on that report........which is inconclusive.

I will see what happens over the weekend......im not gonna slander a guy who contributes well to this forum as do you......At the moment I will take his word for it.........gonna be a toss few days seeing if this comes off.....and potentially being deflated AGAIN when/if we don't sign a striker........

either you will owe mumorn an apology of sorts or mumorn will need to go awol for a bit!!!!

I could come out and say Rooney has signed for Chelsea but it's not gonna be announced yet but remember I told you first when its announced.

sure that's the third option but you still set yourself up to look like a tit and be taken to town if your wrong..............

has anyone got the gif of Michael Jackson chewing popcorn from the thriller vid.......I think its needed.....lol.

I don't care to sniff round someone's arse if they call it correct on a deal..... I just want a top level striker so we can give this season a proper go......cause I love the spurs......this is all very up in the air....

Look at Mumorn's usual style of posting. I mean take the other clubs transfer thread...'this player is off to this club...'this team has bid for this player' he says it with so much conviction based on some random report (he rarely puts the link to the report up).

The Chadli 'itk' is just utterly pathetic. I mean you can't read all the twitter and reports from Belgium literally 20 mins before he says "this looks like it's done"? i mean even his words ..."looks like"...the guy that has no problems saying this bid has been made or this player player is joining this team with so much conviction but looks like? Meh whatever.

I have a strong dislike for itk's (especially ones that are so obviously doing it for attention). GG is a place where you can easily escape from them but now posters that have accumulated massive post counts have suddenly decided they're going to take the tinkle and act like an attention seeking clown. It's annoying because people genuinely come on this thread because they genuinely just want an update regarding our dire striker situation. They're going to see all this activity on this thread and think there's going to be some news but in reality it's just some lame deciding he will be 'itk' for today.
