Franco Baldini returns to London without agreement, as today advances our print edition

ANDREW GARCIA Tottenham technical director, Franco Baldini, has left the hotel where he was staying a few minutes without agreement for the transfer of Soldier. Lets just hope they decided to change the agreement to see if we would accept and as Baldini has said do one that they will come crawling back.
 
Maybe Baldi's gone off into Valencia to try and find a fax machine so he can ask Baldy for an extra 50p?
 
Well we seem to have clear interest. Would not surprise me to hear we have made bids for other strikers over next few days to try and force Valencia's hand if there is only 4mil difference in valuation.
 
Valencia can't afford to turn down €26m, they may have initially said no but they'll get back to us.
