Roberto De Zerbi

It can’t back test either. Rubbish. Chat GPT is basically Alex Crook from talk sport, gets info from the internet and then tries to recycle it as it’s new information.

Fair enough if you want a proper recipe and indulge in asking the right questions then it’s pretty good.
Chat GPT is a large language model so that is exactly what it does. It assesses the entirety of the internet and summarises the consensus view it has reached. If you ask it for an opinion on football in this situation its just found a tonne of articles about Dyche being brought in when a club is desperate and formed a consensus that this must be the correct course of action.

One thing about De Zerbi is that he's intense and wants to work. Players that are lazy, unprofessional and low IQ are gonna find it very tough here now.
Which means seeing as half is injured. That leaves about 3 that he can work with. Will he stay long enough to bring us back up?

The horrendous human being who defended the character of Mason Greenwood WTF?
He supposed to come out and belittle one of his players? Did he not say that the Mason Greenwood he knows is not like that? Meaning he may have done that in the past but he hasn’t shown any type of attitude like that in a professional manner. He is talking about the footballer and the person he see’s everyday not the horrible little clam he was to his girlfriend.

He is here to judge players on performances on the football pitch not how they are off the pitch and even more so what they done before he signed him / knew him.

Where did he defend the character of Greenwood.

Secondly what was Greenwood prosecuted for, was he found guilty and how much prison time did he serve?

The case in short:

Key Details Regarding the Dropped Case:
  • Charges Dropped: In February 2023, all criminal charges were dropped by the CPS.
  • Reasons: The withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.
  • Investigation: Manchester United conducted their own investigation into the allegations.
  • Outcome: Following the investigation, it was decided that Greenwood had not committed the offenses for which he was initially charged in 2022.

Would there perhaps be some logic that Tudor put this squad through their paces and got them way fitter than Frank had them.

Now De Zerbi depends on those fitness levels to bed in his system and get results across 7 games.

I hope so. Unfortunately the decision makers have made so many bad decisions that it’s really difficult to trust in any of their analysis.

I think fitness is one thing, but if you have such a system whereby his previous players have acknowledged that he would have been annoyed that they didn’t follow it exactly even though they scored otherwise…I just hope we can get it firing well enough in these next two weeks.

The fact that charges were dropped did not mean he did not committ the offence. Did you actually listen to the audio recording of him raping (or should I say indecently assaulting) the now mother of his child?

When the main witness refuses to give evidence it does not mean the act was not committed

Simple question, would you be happy if Mason Greenwood signed for Spurs next season?

He seems to regularly fallout with the club hierarchy wherever he goes. How long do we give me before it happens at Spurs?

Maybe that is part of the plan? Get him to keep us up, not give him what he wants in the summer and then hopefully he walks.

"Defend him like a son": When Marseille first moved to sign Greenwood in July 2024, De Zerbi stated that while he might "pull a player's ears" in private for mistakes, he would always "defend him like my son" in public.
"A good guy": In November 2025, De Zerbi described Greenwood as a "good guy" and a "good person," insisting that the version of Greenwood he knew was "totally different" from the one described in England following his 2022 arrest.
"Paid a heavy price": De Zerbi has repeatedly claimed that Greenwood "paid a heavy price" for his past, suggesting that the public and media backlash constituted a significant punishment.
"More human": By February 2026, De Zerbi remarked on Greenwood's personal growth, noting he was becoming "more human," smiling more, and was "less withdrawn" than when he first arrived in France.
