Australians are pejoratively known as racists by a lot of people.Who knows but as its a slur often directed at Arabs I would tend to go towards not saying it.
Absolutely not. You've got that entirely the wrong way around. What a silly discussion to be having...
Can't we all just act in a way that we'd be proud for our kids to behave? Are you genuinely saying that you'd be happy for your child to call someone a bomber because they dive when they play football and come from a particular country?
We don't like Salah, fine. But don't use that as an excuse to trot out racial stereotypes or religious ones for that matter
Please
Small board?
Now that is offensive.
You do what you want but others will judge you for it.Australians are pejoratively known as racists by a lot of people.
If an Australian joined the KKK should I refrain from labelling him or her as a racist because they're Australian?
Similarly I won't refrain from calling out someone who chooses a disgusting, vindictive and evil imaginary friend. Especially when that imaginary friend makes him an anti-Semite.

It's about his choice of religion, not his nationality.
Firstly people are being attacked on our streets because language like this has become normalised. And you are contributing to that.
Secondly you need to read some history. And you will learn that that Muslim Nations consistently protected and offered refuge to Jewish people that were being persecuted by the western countries. So your claim of Muslims being anti-Semitic is, like a lot of what you chat absolute boll ocks.
Where did I say I don't think racism is an issue?Seriously? There is a load of reading material out there but if you don't think racism is an issue when it's said / shouted then I don't think anything I say would change your mind.
The seriousness of racist abuse gets is proportional to the amount of genuine racism that's in society, its why some races are protected by law. Hence I can call a jock tight but not a jew.Where did I say I don't think racism is an issue?
What I've said is why pick that one to get to het up about?
Saying something is racist just because irs Chelsea fans singing it, which is he's saying, is in itself stereotyping.

Yet in this case, pigfudger is anti-Semitic because of his religion, so it's very relevant.Firstly people are being attacked on our streets because language like this has become normalised. And you are contributing to that.

So I can say what I like about Jews without being reprimanded?
Given I have a lack of respect for all religions?
I fully expect to be judged on what I say and do - it's the only fair manner. You do what you want but others will judge you for it.
We do have it both ways, we do. go up to a black guy and call him a N and anyone else a prick and see the difference. Its based on historical context and also current behaviour. If there was no racism then name calling is fine imo but there is and racist abuse adds to it.And if I take offence my feelings don't matter?
So it's not really racism that's you're problem, it's your 'protected people'.
Naming calling is either right or wrong, you can't have it both ways.
