Seems wrong to like this but you know what I mean.Local Tottenham boy Leslie Phillips past away today aged 98, always played a smooth ladies man in comedy films in 50/60s and star in radio comedy The Navy Lark as incompetent naval officer for years.

Keith Levene from PiL and Nik Turner from Hawkwind is a bit of a double whammy for a Saturday.
His talent scheme has brought through so many top English cricketers tooJust got a call from old team mate to tell me Sir David English had died. He was a great bloke and did a great job for English cricket through his Bunbury Cricket Club, he managed RSO records. I played football and cricket with him when he was a youngster and he was a real character, would keep the dressing room laughing and always has a quip for our opponents, he will be missed by many.
