The Lord Nelson is a nice boozer and shouldn't be rammed with tourists. Decent burgers too

Doggetts is just along the river, its a chain, not great, but they have brewdog beer on tap and a big screen, probably will be heaving though.
good shout
although, if you go that far you might as well go to the Ring

they always have an excellent choice of beer
I like the Ring, I think the Nelson will have a better atmosphere
Do they have a tv visible from the patio?
Thanks Milo and Galeforce, my google efforts just seemed to come up with "wine bars" . The Nelson looks like a interesting venue to spend a afternoon, but will some clam through beer over me when we won? Or will there be a custard option??
I'd expect the Nelson to be reasonably clam free unless @galeforce and I decide to join you.
The Ring is just across the road, so you have an easy back up plan if needed.
Would you take a beer on the head if it guaranteed a win?but will some clam through beer over me when we won?
You could walk towards London Bridge. Plenty pubs round there and it's a nice stroll along the river.
Also I made 'The London Thread' for posts like this. Use it and feed my ego.

If that's what a man has to do then yes. Just don't need some youth chucking pints after every fudging goal.
Boring conformist. Fudge you and the horse you rode in on.
