At £6+ a pint, a lot of young people unfortunately can’t afford it.

When I started going to the pub £6 was 5 pints and a bag of chips on the way home.

They're more interested in drinking Monster, RB, Celsius and all that other brick.

The pub closures are regularly blamed on migration rather than an organic cultural evolution. I think villages are still enjoying thriving pub culture but towns and cities, it's the expense. And post Covid people got used to drinking at home for less.

Outrageous my first pint cost 1s9p (8p), you had to be good at mental arithmetic to work behind a bar, no tills working it out for you.

Oh...I go to the pub occasionally...I'm talking about the younger generation.

Hence the amount of pubs that close down every single month.

Gen Z were a particularly puritanical group. But Gen A are a bit more normal and drink more like teenagers that came before them. Those things that look like washing machine balls are a big new drinking thing with the Alphas

I've heard the withdrawal from the thc vapes is insane. Few lads who vape weed a load have absolutely fallen apart when they've gone Dubai and not had any. The nonral smokers were not massively impacted.

Most of it is closer to spice anyway I reckon.

Its absolutely filthy stuff. I grew up with weed like most people, but i won't go near any of it these days, its all been way too messed with

I only smoke Hash now and that once a week maybe. It's grown by a pal of a pal. So I'm easy. Otherwise I won't touch it.
