How are you determining tax equality?

I didn't actually say that but people in Europe on say £25K will pay a lot more tax than someone on that salary in the UK plus higher earners pay something similar to here so overall there's a higher tax take so benefits and services can be improved (or better funded is a more accurate way of looking at it).

Yep. If you look at the US the top 1% pay over 40% of the tax recieved even though they pay a lower tax rate. In the UK its around 30% but they are taxed at a much higher percentage. Thats even when you factor on most people in the US pay an additional state taxes.

The issue is not that the UK is not taxing wealthy people enough it’s that they don’t have enough super wealthy people.
